First, let me wish you a Happy St. Patrick's Day. I enjoyed the day and Mom made me green milk and green oatmeal for breakfast and I liked pointing out everyone who was wearing "mean" (as I still pronounce green). We are getting ready to celebrate "Happy Mommy" tomorrow. I wonder if I will sing to her? We took her out to dinner last night and I was a big fan of spinach artichoke dip and dunking my bread/hand in the olive oil. When we were done eating we got a big surprise-- a fan of Daddy's had paid our bill.
Today we had an open house, so there was more cleaning and tidying this weekend and we had to evacuate the house for a while. It was complicated by the fact that someone wanted to see it from 12:30 to 1:30 and then the open house was from 2-4. So I pretty much missed my whole nap and had to eat my lunch in the car. The good news was that 15 groups came through our house, so hopefully something will come of it.
While we were on the go, we went to see my new school which I liked, but I did not understand why I could not go in and play on the playground. We saw our new house and played in the park just down the street. Then we went to visit our friends who live in that neigborhood and I played with their little girl and we met their new baby who is nine days old.
Speaking of babies, you probably know that we are going to have one. I finally started talking about it this week and I tell Mommy that I am going to be a sister. I also say I can see the baby if I put my eye up to Mommy's belly button-- apparently it is like a peep hole. I told Mom & Dad that I could see blue eyes. We will (hopefully) find out whether it is a boy or girl on March 30!
I have done a couple of other funny things this week. I still love "Baa baa blacksheep" and insisted that Dad sing it at the grocery yesterday. When we checked out Dad, the checker and the bagger all sang it! Yesterday I was making a funny face and Mom said "where did that face come from?" and I thought for a minute and said "my neck." This morning Dad was shaving and he asked what the razor was called and I said "chop chop" --which Mom says is pretty accurate the way Dad has to shave around all his hockey scars!
